Ben

The best advice i could give ya is when you fall, DONT fall with your hands taking the impact, Im sure wristguards might help, but if you fall properly Wink you shouldnt need/rely on them. There is a propper tecnique for falling its something similar to breakfalling in judo/jujitsu, and your instructor will demonstrate for you.

On the other hand, I would reccomend getting butt pads, these can be bought and i even believe that they come integrated into special boarders trousers. ...

On the other hand, I would reccomend getting butt pads, these can be bought and i even believe that they come integrated into special boarders trousers. Last year I took a Camping mat and cut it into an appropriate shape and put it down the back of my trousers in two layers. The comfort was nearly blissful compared to the previous day falling on my cortyx (bum bone).

have fun

re: Wrist guards

The correct way to fall when boarding is with clenched fists, ensuring that all fingers are protected.

Ben

In my personal opinion buy some wrist guards, I agree with all the other posts about the correct ways to fall, however in the heat of the moment this is not always possible. They have certainly payed for themselves with me!!

Also agree with the impact shorts, so worth it!!!

Happy Boarding!! Very Happy Very Happy
