Who's been to Xscape and tried out the indoor skiing? I went to the one near Castleford (Yorskshire) last year and found it to be a pleasan distraction from having to wait another 11 months for BG.
It was a little pricey but I couldn't fault the experience - a really good laugh - we chose 'quiet hours' and we almost had the place to ourselves/
Interested to hear anyone else has tried it out??

I did Xscape Castleford about 2 weeks before I went to Bansko this year. It gave me a good oportunity to remember what I learnt last year (my first skiing trip).
The best thing though was that before I went to Xscape I wasn't too excited about going but when I had done the Xscape thing I was so excited I nearly wet myself every time I thought about skiing - I forgot how good skiing is.
On the down side I agree it is a bit pricey but whilst it will never be as good as the real thing it ...

would you tell when quiet hour was - thinking of going its only up the road, I am also now going to venture to the Sheffield Ski Village, went 15 years ago before I had set foot on ski's and had a disastrous night, fainted - broke my finger - but now due to the wonderful ski Instructors in pamps I should be able to wizz down them slopes.... cant wait:}
excape @ miltonkeynes is very good two good slopes two button lifts
plenty of staff about in case of any problems
if you do go pay for 1 hour and if they don't kick you of after an hour it's a bonus

good shops /bars/cafes there also
thanks oldieski, will tty it, my friend is a boarder and keeps asking me to go, he will not use his new board on the dry ski slope says it will damage it.
