Xscape

Just come back from Borovets and have withdrawl symptoms. Has anyone been to Xscape at Castelford, if so what is it like. I'm planning to visit as soon as my broken wrist recovers......

re: Xscape

It's OK. £16.00 PER HOUR off peak, £20.00 peak and you are advised to book (peak as it gets busy). There is a slow and fast button lift then it's down in 30 seconds ... then que to get back up again. Off peak, we probably went up and down 12 times in an hour as there were only small queues.

re: Xscape

What was the slope like? If you had to compare it to a green, blue, red or black?

Cheers

re: Xscape

We would say it was green to blue, its only 20 mins from us so worth us visiting - i wouldn't be bothered if it was far to travel.
We have found that between 3 -5 pm is a good time (if you go early you seem to get longer than an hour. Went in at 3.30 yesterday and stayed til 5.
The outlet shopping centre is good, just opposite and theres lots of choice of restaurants and a cinema, bowling, climbing wall and skytrack.

re: Xscape

Cheers Kathryn. I live in York so it is about 30 mins from here. I know it isn't ideal, but there really is nothing else (apart from Tamworth, and by all accounts that is pretty cr*p?)
