Xscape

is Xscape Milton Keynes any good? need to get some practice in for Borovets in Feb Razz

I went for a lesson - got advised to do Level 2 - learning how to snowplough turn. I did tell them I could snowplough turn but was a bit nervous...

By the end of the lesson, we'd just about started to put a couple of turns in - instructor advised me to repeat Level 2...

Five days later I went to the dry slopes at Hemel Hempsted - they advised me to go for level 4. One lesson at level four - you're now ready for level five and one lesson at level five and I'm ready for level six.. ...

I wouldn't go for lessons at MK ever again - waste of time and money. Don't know about the open practice though

Hi.. went to Xscape on Tuesday for practise and would agree that lessons are a waste of time but the slopes are OK for practise - quite expensive tho!

I don't agree with the other postings on here. I have to say that my experience of lessons at MK were excellent. yes they are expensive but you only pay for what you get. I respect the fact that my instructors wanted me to repeat levels because once I got recreational I found it a breeze and not like I was still learning! If you want recreational sessions then MK is great to learn on real snow. Don't go on a Sunday though unless you want a million and one three year old skiers cutting ...
