YESTERDAY'S KIDS MESSAGES

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THOSE WHO HAD CONCERNS OVER THE MESSAGES FROM THE 12 YR OLDS. I AM THE MUM OF ELLA AND FOUND OUT THAT WHILST SHE WAS AT COMPUTER CLUB AT SCHOOL YESTERDAY THESE MESSAGES WERE CREATED BY HER AND FRIENDS. I HAVE POINTED OUT AS A CONCERNED MUM THAT SHE MUST BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND WAS SHOCKED THAT THEY ALLOWED HER TO DO THIS AT HER AFTER SCHOOL CLUB , APPARENTLY THE TEACHER HAD POPPED OUT OF THE CLASSROOM. ONCE AGAIN MANY THANKS TO THE VIGILANT PEOPLE WHO SPOTTED ...

There are a really decent bunch of people that use the site and all they want is some banter about skiing and to try and help others out. Good to see a Mum getting involved as well !!!!

Hi Mum!! Thanks for taking the time to post your kind words as said children are very welcome on this site if they use it properly and there is usually someone to keep there eyes open using the board.

I'm most surprised they were allowed on at their after school club too as this site isn't covered by parental controls - ie I have to log on under my name for my kids they can't get on under their pass word. Not quite sure I like the idea of a "teacher" popping out for a bit either!!

Sort them out Mum Very Happy I think I would.

thanks for your comments Ellie I will investigate this further with my daughters school and I think they would be quite shocked that they can get on to chat rooms, not that this one is a dodgy one!! thanks again
