Hi Martyn

Yes I stayed in Malina in 2000 very basic but clean and warm.

You have to get taxi's/ski bus in to centre or have bit of a hike but they were readily available!

I would go back there

Very nice. My only complaint would be that quite often at night there was absolutely no hot water, I assume they have a very small tank that cannot stretch to the whole complex.

The restaurant was nice and the food a pleasant surprise. The chalets are nice warm and in a very quiet and picturesque setting.

If you have any specific questions let me know.

many thanks for the reply. One thing we are bothered about is ski hire and lift passes as we have not pre booked, taking lesson on dry slope in UK, so hopefully will have basic skills. Most reports suggest we can book while in resort but also notice that Malina/Yagoda have ski hire facilities, can you confirm if this is true? Also have read that lift pass is expensive if bought in resort, nearly £100.

re: Yagoda & Malina & Holiday Villages

Hi Martyn
We too are going with another family of 4 to the Yagoda Village on the same week as you. We are staying in a chalet with a Sauna, are you ?? We might even be next door!!!

I would also be interested in finding out about the lift passes as well as we haven't booked either.

Maybe we should meet up for a beer or two Booze.

have managed to book ski's etc through our tour opperator, got good price as well. Will definately hook up when we get there for a beer or two. Have you been skiing before, I have but the family hasn't, therfore thought we would have dry slope lessons before we go
