Yanakiev Hotel

Hello Everybody,
After a long time watching others I have finally taken the plunge and posted. We are coming to Borovets on 11th Feb, very excited but have already learnt not to say C*** W***! We are staying at the Yanakiev, has anyone else stayed here I haven't seen any comments about it. We are bringing our own equipment, do they have a locker room?
Thanks for all the info I've aleady learnt about Borovets.

re: Yanakiev Hotel

Stayed at the Yanakiev last year and returning again next Saturday. I have stayed at other hotels in Borovets on a number of occasions but the Yanakiev is by far the more superior of any I have stayed in Borovets by a huge distance. Food is good and plentiful drinks are slightly more expensive than the others which you would expect from the star rating it is. Enjoy.

Hi Neil,

Sorry for delay in replying. I agree with Paul that is is one of the better hotels by far... We got married at the hotel 18months ago and couldn't ask for beter food / service etc. The rooms are also realtively large, have great views (if you're on the slope side) but don't have kettles (similarly to most hotels here) so you will need to pack a travel kettle if you enjoy a cuppa!

Only other thing is some regualrs to the bar stayed there a week ago and said that when you went ...

Only other thing is some regualrs to the bar stayed there a week ago and said that when you went to order wine in the restaurant, there was no price list...which made it difficult to know what to order.... we didn't experience this as a problem as with a wedding here, you take your own, but you may just want to keep an eye on that or get prices first before you buy....
