Hi Ya,
The Yanakiev is on the Rotata nursery run, so is a ski in / ski out hotel. We were there for a week in June as we got married there and all our english friends / family came over and stayed there for 5 days. The food was excellent (and not just on the wedding day), as were the staff. The children used the pool, which is quite small but hot and there is also a small spa area where you can get a massage - again, we didn't use this as we were too busy all week, but some of our guests did and said the massages were great! The rooms are furnished in a basic style, but very comfortable and have everything you need. The bar is small, but there is lots of seating (both downstairs) and on the mezzanine. I would say it is on a par with the Lodge (4 star next to the gondola) and is one of the best in the resort.
Hope this helps - let me know if you need any more info.
Hi,
We have stayed at the Yanakiev the past two years and have no complaints at all! Tha staff are very friendly, the rooms are very modern and spacious with brilliant views over the slopes. Food was ok but we also ate out several times as there are plenty of good places to eat without breaking the bank! We also used the ski hire from the hotel which I must say is in very good condition. We can't wait to go back in Feb!!
