Yasterbets 2 and 3

Trying to find info on the Yastebets 2 and 3 runs, I know they are marked as Reds but how do they compare to other Reds such as Baraki 2 or Markudjik 3 for example, I know they are longer but whats the gradient like, trying to work out if we can ski them as a mixed ability group ( No first timers)
Any info appreciated. Confused

andy i was in borovets last week and had been skiing once before and had no major issues skiing do either of the yestebet runs; 3 is slightly easier in my opinion... also worth noting for the more experienced skiers in your group is the black run (fonfon i thinks its called) is definitley worth a go; it is officially closed but if i can get down it in one piece then im sure you can!! also the top of yestebets 1 is fine, you can ski back down to the mid-way gondola station from there and that ...

I class them as easy reds. However, they can suck you in because they are wide and rolling you may find yourself travelling much faster than you would perhaps prefer.

Fon Fon although rated black...Mmm I've skied more challenging reds elsewhere. But when it's icy it's fun fun fun. Not as wide as the reds. Can get quite interesting at the end when it bottle necks to a steep narrow track to the middle station.

Worth practicing your short swings on the Markudjik pistes and mix in long and medium turns to get used to varying turn shapes before heading down the Fon Fon.

As with all ski slopes, looks can be deceptive - especially from the Gondola.

Hope this helps.

Had a look on youtube at your videos, looks really good and the camera work is pretty impresive.

Fall at the end of fonfon and the only thing stopping you is the wall of the gondola mid-station ... ahhh, happy days!
