Yes - Bansko is still cheap...

Anybody who is concerned about price rises in Bansko need not worry too much. Instead of going to the Happy End or some other "Brits on tour" type pub head away from gondola and turn right at the new traffic lights. There are some wooden huts on your left hand side (opposite side of road from the Fortuna apartments) where you can sit outside in the sun and enjoy a cold 500ml bottle of Pirinsko for 0.70Lv (25 pence)

i didnt find any place that was cheap, the cheapest beer we found was about 2 levs!!

Any bar that advertises "sky sports" is usually at least double the price of those who don't!! Most mexanas away from pirin street (down in the old town) are still selling beer/vodka for 1.50Lv or less per bottle/50ml shot
