Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I tried to prebook my ski lessons/equipment and lift pass with Profi Tours via this site but they say if I have booked my holiday through Inghams, Thomson, Crystal, Neilsons etc they cannot accept my booking. I didn't bother to book the ski package with the travel agents at the time I booked the holiday because I wanted to search for a better deal on the net. Thought I had found it with the above company via this Bulgariaski.com. site. I went back to the travel agents to book the ski package today. They said it was too late to book it. Am I now in a position where I can go to Borovets but can't ski? Why wont Profi Tours who allow prebookings over the net for passes, equipment and lessons ect not allow me to prebook with them just because I booked my accommodation and flight with a tour operator? This is madness. Anyone else been turned down when attempting to book a ski package through this site?

I too have come across this problem.
This is my 3rd time to Bulgaria but will probably be my last. This is not the way to advertise Bulgarian skiing and is going to put people off from coming to the detriment of all local workers, from the ski schools, restaurants & bars down to manual labour on the slopes.
It's a pity as Bulgaria is a lovely, picturesque country (though I wish they'd do something about all the beggars and street vendors).

Come on guys, get your thumbs out and look ahead, not to the next paypacket....
