re: You want snow???

Fiona, what temperature will it be then? will the temp still be below zero? Were you still able to ski from the top to the bottom last season or you had to take gondola back?
If I am beginner and having ski lesson, does it mean the instructor would bring us up to the top from the first day?

re: You want snow???

At that time of the season, you will need gondola to bring you back down. Top or mid station? depends.
If you are having lessons I beleive you will be taken up top.
As for temps?, can't remember, but by the afternoon it is slushy!.
Makes for easy skiing!!! (slushy)

Gondola can be needed to bring you back down into resort at any time of the season, regardless of temp. This is a very annoying aspect of Borovets as it would be of any ski resort if being unable to ski from top to bottom.

For those unfamiliar with the snow depth indictors that the ski industry uses around the world - these reports are supposed to indicate the 'compacted or pisted base' depth.

Given that a 10cm fall of fresh snow when compacted and pisted is condensed down to 3cm at most!
