Just returned from Borovets were we stayed at the Rila . We had a great holiday slopes could have been better but never mind . We had some great meals Chillis Silver eagle Marmacitas White magic Green King. Frankos wasnt that good . I do think the prices have gone up rather alot since last year and the previous year. But i suppose prices go up everywhere. We had a good holiday on the whole one thing did rather upset us and the group we ended up with.

We went to the Buzz Bar on Our first night , We had not been in on our previous visits to Borovets. The atmostphere seemed goodon the whole although i did see one member of staff and a member of secrurity get rough with a lad . The 2nd night When some of our ski group suggested going again we agreed. Well the incident that happened could have put us of going to Borovets again. A couple of lads a bit younger then our group aroung 22 ,23 were drinking at the bar. I would say they were quite merry but not out of control . They seemed well behaved and didnt cause any trouble. When they decided to leave that was when the trouble started. They got up to walk out and a member of staff grabbed one of the lads and tried to drag him to the door . The other lad followed . When they got to the door the security took over . We also decided to leave at this time. We had seen too many people going in and out of the toilets coming back on a differant planet. When we got outside the security were giving the lads a bit of a roughing up . When we came out they stopped. One of the lads asked for his wallet back the other asked for his phone . The security did give the lads their thing back , but only i think because we came out at the same time and because there was 7 lads who play rugby with us. The lads swore they hadnt done or said anything , they were just set upon when they left and the men took the phone and the wallet
The following days we heard of 3 boys and 1 girl loosing there phone in the Buzz Bar all in dodgy circimstances.
Needless to say we did not go back to the Buzz Bar . Beware if you go and enter at your own risk.Ther are plenty of ace nightlife in Borovets without needing to go in the Buzz Bar .
