about ski tuition in borovets

I am going to borovets on 8 feb...I booked the holiday with Balkans. I will be staying at Samokov hotel. As i found the 'learn to ski' package is actually cheaper than the cost of lift pass,ski hire and boot hire, so I chose to join the group ski school there. However, I heard many ppl saying private instruction would be a lot better, do you think I can still find private instructor after I tried the group lesson on the first day?

You will find private tuition instructors easily, just ask around and negotiate a price.

Try the ski school, it's a great way to meet people. You can always combine with private tuition and if necessary move up a group. They are very laid back in ski school and if you don't click with your instructor, they will move you to another group. Ask in the office, if necessary.

Kids skied many times with the Samokov ski school- excellent- cant fault them so far!- get in the group youll enjoy it!

Calvin, you have heard my thoughts on the Samokov food, BUT I went with their ski school and it was very good, I had my instructio from a man called Angel (yes I said Angel!) there are two of them, the fella that did or tuition was the smaller of the two and he was brilliant...so you do not need to worry on this front..go to the ski school everything will be fine!

Ski groups are a great way to meet people. Skiing on your own is boring.
