I have been looking at numbers of weather forecast...the temp will rise above zero next week in borovets, I am going on the week after...I am a beginner and I will join the samokov ski school, will they bring us up to higher slope for lesson? as I predict the snow condition at the bottom of the slope will get very poor.
They are also using snow cannons on the beginner slope outside the Rila, so I predict there will be skiing for some weeks even if there's no more snow fall - which I think there will be.
If the beginner slope becomes unskiable then you will still have the beginner slopes at the top of the gondola, where the views are spectacular. You will want to stop to admire or take photos. Skiing on the top usually goes on into April.
You are likely to start on the ...
Calvin - are you panicking?

You are likely to start on the Rila slope but should quickly progress to the upper slopes anyway.
of cos i am panicking...this is my first time skiing...I don't want to go there just for drinking and sleeping....I know it is no point to panic as the holiday has been booked...just finger crossed..
Calvin don't worry! Our first time skiing was early season when the snow was poor. We did 2 days on the Rila slope, then went up to the top of the Gondola. There's a very easy slope that we used, then I think it's a blue run that we progressed on to as a group.
Those in the know predict snow this week, you will be fine
Calvin......Chill pill time.. U will have a great time. As said B4 relax and enjoy.. PS never lan back on your skis and always learn to stop = important.
