You get to the ski area each day by (free) bus which stops outside the hotel.
You'll need to get vouchers from the rep in the hotel in the morning for your gear.
Fitting is round about 9:30-10:00, and it is a bit chaotic, but you get your stuff eventually.
We arranged the time for the days with our instructor and the rest of the group, so we started around 10:00 each day and finished at 4:00, with a few breaks in between.

If you wanted to get there ahead of the rush, you could always get a taxi from the hotel. I think it cost about £3-£4 last year.

Its very chaotic on day 1. When I went, people (holidayers - mostly foreign) didnt understand the rules of queuing and barged ahead of us to get all the info from the rep which was extremely rude and irritating.

At the depot (a short bus ride away - although now I believe it has moved to the resort rather than the slopes) there is another bit of chaos to get your gear. Just try to make sure you are not the last person in and try and find some decent fitting boots asap as they will be ...

re: advice needed

You usually return them every night but get the same pair back the next day, just don't lose your ticket

re: advice needed

we have stayed in the panorama hotel before it was renovated 2 years ago. back then it was door-step skiing with its own ski room away from the chaos of the main ski depot. not sure if this is still the case but we've heard runours that the ski room may have re-opened. this means that you wouldnt have to get a bus or anything as its all on site. we hope this is true as we are returning at the end of jan and can't wait. if not don't panic the chaos is short lived so chill out and enjoy ...
