advice

first timer at winter hols and got a young son so not booked any ski schools but can we just hire for the day and please or selves as to where we go with either skis or snowboards or is the ski schools the best policy.plz help !!

there can be age resrictions for ski schools but if your first time would advise book learn to ski packs so you get lessons off qualified insturctors depending on age of son you could do class together but if really young kindergarden may be his route as a full day on slopes maybe too long but they do other activities like sledging etc aswell which would leave you time to learn yourself
Someone who has skied with children will advise you better but depends on sons age

Definitely the best thing to do is to book a 'learn to ski' package, we went with Inghams last year, first time skiing with three sons, its the most cost effective, also you will want to ski all the time when you get there, as apart from drinking all day, there isn't that much else to do, also you'll still need all the warm ski clothes so you might as well ski. Have a great time.
