Hi Carot
I'm staying at Malina chalets this year what are they like?
Are the free buses regular to the ski slopes? what times do they run...any advice and tips.
Cheers
I stayed at the Malina Chalets they year before last. I thought they were lovely but i must admit i'm easily pleased! Don't turn the heating up too high as they get too hot! Kitchen facilities are very bacic.. one ring stove and a saucepan! You wouldn't cope very well if you were self catering but there are plenty of cheap eating out venues. Buses run regularly to take you to the main gondalar in the morning (i.e. every 10 mins) but you may need to cross over the road and catch the bus ...

Have a great time!
You can walk to the slopes from Malina chalets - 10 mins max - although the bus stops right at the top of the lane down to the slopes if you need it. we stayed at Malina the first year we went skiing - 8 years ago and they were lovely but ditto on the heating - we found we had to keep the door open sometimes just to let some cool air in - they do get very hot - also be very careful on the stairs inside - they are lethal - specially if you've had a few toots! Have a brilliant time!
