how long do u have to be at the airport before a flight it says 3 hours on the tickets is that true

- added security these days unfortunately, but our last check in at Gatwick is 1pm which is 2 hours before take-off.

Best to be too early than too late eh Wink

Check-in opens 3 hours before flight, but normally closes 45 mins to an hour before take off. If you are there 3 hours before hand, you can start the holiday drinking earlier. (sensible drinking obviously Booze)

Ours say two hours Pete - thats Balkan from East Midlands. I think it must depend on the airline you're with.
