Hi, i know this sounds a silly question, but has anyone just got back and flew with monarch airways as we would like to know what you are now allowed to take onto the plane in the cabin we have booked through inghams, cheers.
Inghams luggage allowance for the hold is 20kgs per person, and you can't combine your allowance across a group of people. For instance, if three people are in a group there allowance is 60kgs - you couldn't have two bags weighing 25kgs and one weighing 10kgs. The maximum bag weight allowed is 23kgs, if you go over this you will be asked to load some of your stuff into other bags. Excess baggage is charged at £5 per kilo.

Not all companies work like this - Balkan combined our allowance no problem last year - we'd one really heavy bag (they put a sticker on it that said so!) and one light one, but they weren't bothered. Their handlers must be heftier than Inghams'!!
