I wish you all the luck with your quest for the orphanage.
I know what you are up agenst.
My wife and I, have over the last 3 years have sent to the orphanages over £80,000 in aid.4 of us have made this. andy,gerri,kim and max. all the records and lists are with the mayor of chepelare.The lists are open to all and they are in the town hall. If you are in the town please go and see them . I will post our D.V.D of our quest later to all on this site if you want to see it.

By the way, is the orphanage for the special children still open in the village??? As we just have as soft spot for them all, emely and jason the most .All info will help as the B.B.C reporter (John Marshall) that came with us wants to carry on with this story as he is into the aid and well being of the cheldren.

I have just done my daily scan through this forum . As I am trying to help Amanda keep check of the admin as she is doing all the running about over there and is often emailing me until 3 a.m. Just explaining why I opened the post to her.
I was shocked and surprised to see your post re £80,000 and have obviously sent it to Amanda for action as I would be very surprised if she knows about this.

thank you for your kind words, i only ever pass thrugh Chepelare usually late at night, when get some free time i willhave a look. I have never heard of anyone collecting such a large sum of monies near by, it is a shame that they could not have shared the pot around to save the children from living in such freezing conditions, did you focas on one particulas institute ? did you donate monies or goods? if monies what was purchased with it? i hope that it all went to the ...

Hi AmandaI sponsor a child in africa the money I pay on a monthly basis goes to help the community not direct to that child, throught the orginisation I can write to her and send her things, is there any way of setting something up like this for these children?

it will give you two drop off points for your kind donations, one in Pamporovo and one in Smolyan. I cannot put all the info here as I do not want to get my hands slapped by mentioning places and names
