Early Risers in Corby - it's very competitive - but not an official competition. I go weekdays and do 40 lengths in 20 mins - does that count?

nah, i am looking for other idiots like me who take kids swimming at 5 am loli did the noth east regional championships "MASTERs"

looking to qualify for european championships next year in spain
this why i am nearly always first 1 on in the morning, in here at 5 am lol

Unlucky Corby pool doesn't open until 7, have to start queuing at 6.45. The new East Midlands Olympic pool they are building for us is coming on well. That should be open next year, opening at 5 am ish.
The ER want to make Corby a republic so we can keep the pool to ourselves on the morning, rather than Olympic training. It seems to be too difficult for the PA's to rope more than two lanes off. I think the issue is that the "dinner ladies" would have to swim rather than talk!! ...

Only jealous - I am a self-taught swimmer, and not a "aquadynamic shape". Much more suited to the hockey/rubgy pitch.
I have a very fetching pink hat and matching flip-flops though.
