any questions?

Has anyone got any questions about Borovets? Some questions I might not be able to answer but I'll try my best.

Ok, puts contrversial hat on.... I had a wicked time in Boro last year, but there was only 2 things that spoiled it for us, so here we go:
1. Why when there was so much snow all over the reorts were there still bare patches on the piste, even first thing in the morning before anyone had got the chance to scrape it off?.
2. Why were there such a high number (comparitive to the size of the resort) of "ladies of the night" in the reception of one best hotels in the town?

Two negatives i accept, but the rest of the trip was superb, so no questions on the good bits!

re: any questions?

you tend to find the 'bare' bits are the very steep parts and with the best will iin the world its almost impossible to get the snowcats over theses bits without thinning out the snow (combination of thinner snow due to gravity and more umph from the cats) overall i found that these points were also where (and ill be charitable) skiers and boarders who are learning tend to side slip cause its steep so further removing the snow cover.

Also when i've been to Boro it's been late Feb normally and so there has been plenty of snow. On the latter point, i agree that there are plenty of ladies of the night in Amsterdam, and in most ski resorts as well. On the latter point, i agree that there are plenty of ladies of the night in Amsterdam, and in most ski resorts as well. However, they tend to be in certain area (which can be avoided if needed), not stood in the rececption of the biggest (and best?) hotel in the resort. It just seemed strange to me that they hadn't been moved on by either the Police or the hotel staff. As i said as well, i do like Boro, but it does have a couple of problems and as someone said they had answers...!!!
