any tips for new year eve in sofia?

hi everyone,
before heading to borovets we will be spending the 31st dec eve in sofia. any recommendations where we should dine and party in sofia? we are 2 couples and a 4 year old so i believe any idea for an authentic dining and a street party would go great!

p.s. does anyone lose hope about snow in bor for the week of 1st jan 07 ?
