Hi, we spent last new year there and we have booked again this year we arrive on 26th and are staying in the iglika palace. Last year they done us a gala meal on new years eve with all drinks included and we had a brilliant time, skiing was fantastic, people really friendly, food was fine in hotel and a really good place we found was a pizza place by the gondala where the owner makes his own bases outside so you cant miss it can't think of the name of it though, but best pizza i have ever tasted, drinks are really cheap. We saw the new year in outside of the front of the rila by the ski slope and it certainly was an experience( the noise and fireworks were unbelievable), we were first time skiers and i was very nervous but we had a brilliant instructor and made us feel at ease and even our daughter skiied with us. You will have a brilliant time no matter what, happy christmas and happy holiday, enjoy.
