Hi Lou

We were at the Finlandia in Feb - the hotel is really clean, they do have hairdryers in every bathroom (one of my questions before going) & the rooms are plenty big enough - we were 2 adults & 1 12yr old (he was on conv sofa bed). The drinks are cheaper than in centre, 70p per 1/2 litre lager, £4.00 bottle of wine & the hot chocolate brandys are to die for at £1.15. Don't pay any more than 10 levs for your taxi or get the hotel bus for 1 lev. The food is basic but theres enough ...

Don't pay any more than 10 levs for your taxi or get the hotel bus for 1 lev. The food is basic but theres enough choice to keep you going for the week. Staff were all friendly & son was in pool most nights and all the guests were really friendly. We'd only had lessons at Xscape before we went & did the learn to ski pack while there & did some blue runs before we came home & the infamous chicken jump.

You'll have a great time - we decided while we were there that we will be going back to the same hotel, etc in 2006 at Feb half term. I';m really jealous, I couldn't stop thinking about it when we had the snow here.

Enjoy

Gill Very Happy

re: anyone been to hotel finlandia pomporovo

We stayed in this hotel for our first ski-ing holiday this January. I would say that it is one of the best hotels (we did go through some of the others while we were there like to Megga smokey Perelik, and the very over booked Pamporovo!). The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and trusting. The food can sometimes be a little bit cold, but if you mention this to the staff, they do there best to make sure it improves.

My recommendation to you is to book in for a massage mid week through your break, it's really cheap (£15) and you will feel the benefits.
We are trying to book to go back to the same hotel next year, that's how good it was!
Hope you have a great time.... I wish it was me!
