anyone just back from Pamporova?

only 13 days until pamporova- can't wait. First time on a skiing holiday. Would appreciate any info,advice, particularly on the not so obvious things to take with you. What is the nightlife like in Pamps?
which restaurants , bars would you recommend. Is the place actually riddled with hookers as some people would have you believe! ( hope not) or is that just people stiring things!

yeh u hav made a good choice im goin on saturday cnt w8 b my second time !
the plces u want to go in the nights are :
BJ'S BAR AND DAKS BAR there 2 really good places for nightlife and the food in most restrundes are good but there is a really nice italian place in 1 of the hotels that u should check out for a good pizza !!! hope u have a good time

take some sun lotion for your face as if its hot you can get burnt, also some kind of lip balm as if its cold they tend to chap. i didnt see any hookers when we were there not that we were looking but i think you can tell them a mile away so no its not riddled with them. the night life is pretty good a few bars bjs daks and the aperi ski bar all worth a vistit

Also the new White Hart opened on Thursday---very impressed and is likely to become the in-place

Pamps great! -Just back. Stayed in Hotel Elina. Exchange at the 24hr Alaska Supermarket is 2.75 Lev to the GBP. White Heart very nice to eat. All food in Pamps for us was just warm, never did I get a hot meal even though requested it. I think its just the way they eat out there!

Italian is ok in Hotel Perilic.
Skiing great. Thy need snow though to get the Pistes up to scratch. Very cold there tomorrow....Wrap up well!!!

You have made a fantastic choice!

Got back late Saturday night and now have really bad holiday blues!

Nightlife was great, although we did only sample Daks (next to Snezjanka hotel) and BJ's (in the Perelik hotel).

Cannot think of anything non obvious to take other than lots of Pro Plus and Red Bull.

If you go into BJ's say hello to Ivan, Mario & Goldie!
