apres ski wear

I know what to wear on the slopes but what do people wear at night?
a) if you stay in your hotel and
b) If you go out to a bar

PS I'm over 21 and have 2 kids

Jeans, T shirts, fleeces, etc.

Went there earlier this year and all of the bars and restaurants we went in were well heated.

The hotel we stayed in was also warm enough just to wear jeans and a T shirt in the public areas.

The main beauty of Borovets is everything is fairly close to everything else, therefore you are not out side for long.

Well, Anita, take casual clothes.
Everybody wears what he/she feels most comfortable with, there is no rule about this.

Jeans, t-shirts, timberlands etc etc etc. If you go too fashionably you'll stick out like a sore thumb. Take a second jacket to your ski jacket and don't even think about taking something smart for one night.... you'll never need it!!

what about footwear, do we need moonboots for going out in the evenings or will our ski boots be enough?

Hi Anita,
ref footwear:

moonboots are not realy needed if you are staying in the centre of borovets, but you do need footwear with a good grip.
Most of the bars are all within 3 mins walk, I just take my trainers and walk carefully.

We found the snow in the town very compacted and at times dangerously icy - so as Chiro says wear something with a good grip sole and if this is your moonboots then those will be just fine. We wore ours!!
