atomic or salomon

which is the better make? atomic or salomon, been watching the olympics and loads have atomic does that mean they are better, got salomon boots but thinking of getting some skies in pamps next time and wondering if its protocol to buy same skies as boots or whether if Atomic are better to go for them?you dont seem to be able to get much atomic in the UK, actually not seen any where I live....
But also noticed most of the ski instructors wear atomic.

Kinda like saying how long is a peice of string. Both brands produce some very good skis but it's really down to personal preference. For every skier that says Atomic is better, there will be someone who says Salomon is better.It's up to you at the end of the day. If you can, see if you can demo some skis (plenty more makes than the two mentioned) and see what you like and feels good for you and not what the pros use.

thanks Kiwi reckon you answered my question quite well, I like to buy the best and just did not want to get salomon if I found out atomic are the better ones,,, sounds like they are much the same - depending on preference, reckon I should stick with Salomon to match the boots.... I doubt they would let me try the skies out, not if they saw how I ski!!!! and to be honest so long as they get me to the bottom of the hill without any bruises thats the main thing, but reckon thats down to me to ...
