avalanche rating in bansko

any idea what the avalanche rating is at the moment, is off pieste banned or....??

Last week it was not banned (i'm not sure that they ever ban it in Bulgaria - think you just do it at your own risk?). However, our ski instructed reckons there will be a big avalanche soon. The snow is so heavy and basically anyone who strays far off piste is playing with fire (or ice?).

thanks for that mate, good to know, from looking at the current snowfall and your words of advice from mr ski instructor i think i will be on the pieste
