My daughters friends and their dad was in an avalanche in couchavel this week. the kids are ok but the dad got buried and is in hosptial recovering. They were off pieste the two boys saw it coming and they all skiied to get out of the way unlucky for the dad he got caught in it, buried under 8 feet of snow.

take care if you are going off pieste

all skiers skiing of piste should be wearing transceivers shovel and probe, and learn mountain awareness, there not many people outski avalanches , only on the ski vids , RESPECT THE MOUNTAIN , its a dangerous place
