baby slopes/Bansko

Hi,
A few of us are going to Bansko for the first time on Dec 27th. One person who is coming has never skiied before, and is afraid of heights. I was wondering if anyone knew if the 'baby' slopes were only asseccible by gondola, or is there a button/rope so that she will be able to at least learn?
We went to Italy last year and the baby slopes were up rather high and so she didn't partake at all because they were only accessible by gondola...of which she was too afraid to use..
