back from Bansko

Just got back from Bansko, 1st the snow was some of the best iv'e had. The sun was out all week but didn't effect the snow much at all.
stayed at Bordo appartments which was very nice.
needed a taxi to get all 8 of us to the gondala, was no problem always on time and would pick us up at the lions bar any time we wanted thanks Tosko for that.
It was a shame that the world cup was on the same weekend we were there, they shut half of the lifts off and at least two or three of the best runs ...

It was a shame that the world cup was on the same weekend we were there, they shut half of the lifts off and at least two or three of the best runs was not pleased about that. also the price of the lift pass (£137) was a joke when there is only 50km of runs left. some other bad news happy end bar DO NOT go in this bar it is a total rip off, they tried to con money out of us so we kicked up a fuss they were not happy, so please dont go in there.
The bulgarian people were not very nice realy most tried to arm restle us out off cash.
As a place it is a bit spread out and has a stray dog problem, which without the right booze would probably keep most people up.
Somebody did ask me about my evil twin board??
I took a 155 and its the best board i have ever ridden, on piste and in park can not fault it, its very forgiving well handy for that flat trip home where other boards would of caught an edge this baby let me know about it first.
In powder and off piste, (which we did alot of.) was ok but a bit of a fight in the steep bits, it liked to go where it wanted to. but overall a great board.
