Got back from boro on thursday morning.
Had the best holiday ever.Were a little nervous about this trip[ as we'd never skied, never had a winter holiday, never been to Bulgaria and are getting on a bit - 46 and 48,
Needn't have worried, it was the best holiday ever. Stayed in the Samakov and apart from the evening meals, which were a bit bland and not very hot, and the fact that there was no hot water, except in the swimming poool showers, after about 1730, we can't fault it.As it's ...

You must try the Happy Duck. the foods excellent and they have a duo on at night that are so bad they're unmissable.
The skiing was fantastic as were the Samakov instructors and we made some brilliant friends.
Just one bad point. We took winter sports cover insurance through Lloydtsb Gold Service and after Fiona ruotered her ligament and had to have her leg in plaster the day before we were due to fly home, their service was appalling.
we were put into another room in the Samakov on the saturday night and told we wouldn't be able to fly home until the tues - via Frankfurt but they wouldn't pay for telephone calls or meals.
Don't let that puit you off. it's a great holiday
