does anyone know the hand luggage size , for a small case ?? for whizz air flights?? please.i want to take a large case and a small one to put in over head .?? thanks.

Hi Sherie, I'm not sure of the exact size but I do know that the basket that they make you squeeze it into to check the size is a LOT smaller than the Ryanair one. I recently flew to Bulgaria from Ireland, had to take 2 flights as there are no direct..one on Ryanair and had no problem fitting the bags into the basket to check, the second on Wizzair and really struggled to fit it in. Better to carry a bag rather than a case as it can be squashed in.re: baggage

I fly Wizz all the time - once a week in the winter months. In Sofia they don't normally measure the smaller case - they just weigh it if you are checking-in. If you have hand lugage only and go straight to security they don't even bother weighing it. At Luton / the UK they do usually weigh it and ask you to put it in the rack to check the size, but again, we have never been stopped. Bear in mind the allowance for hold cases is 32kilos unlike 20kilos on most other flights... ...

If you have a large suitcase, will the new one not fit inside it and then fill it that way so it all goes in hold - again, we have done that before.
The actual allowance is 10kilos (55x40x20).
I woudl be really surprised to see you stopped in Sofia, especially if it has nothing in it...

thanks kas .youve been really helpull.it was the size i wanted and its actually bourgas airport !! i ve just sold my appartment in sun beach and i ve got loads of stuff to shift ..and wanted the small case .
