Hi everyone!
This is a true and accurate report on the conditions this week in Bansko.
Arrived saterday and the skiing has been very limited, only 6,7,8 and nine really skiable, 5 and 10 to rocky as the high winds have made some parts very bare. The Ski road is open and you can ski down it ok but has been a bit slow.
The weather has not been good, quite warm infact, on tuesday and monday you didn't even have to wear a jacket in the town. the last couple of days been raining in the ...

The weather has not been good, quite warm infact, on tuesday and monday you didn't even have to wear a jacket in the town. the last couple of days been raining in the town and wet snow/sleet on the mountain.
However!!! Now the good news your all waiting for.
Today, thursday there is heavy snow falling on the mountain all the way down to halfway down the bottom section of the snow road where it then turns back to rain.
There is more forcast as well especially friday night so all you lucky people comming out this weekend should have really good conditions. Unfortunately it looks like we came out just one week to early. Still, we still had a great time. I hope this has helped any of you looking to come out next week.
