Whos flying with balkan on the 3rd of feb to borovets? Anyone at newcastle airport?

Hey craig

When did you take them on as hand luggage, because when i went a few weeks ago they didnt let you, they had to go in hold. I may be wrong, it wouldnt be the first time.....

They said you get 1 x ski bag (whether it be boots or skis or both) upto 15kg when you pay for ski/board carraige.

I spoke to balkan and they did say that things have changed first time told could take as hand luggage but this would be the only hand luggage allowed. Then was told and in the small print boots have to go in hold unless in ski bag and prepaid.

Went Jan 20th both wife & i had own boots in bags as hand luggage, daughter aged 9 had the normal hand luggage rucksack, no skis mind, we didnt pay for carraige. We had 20kgs in hold + hand luggage. Wifey did same last year went 22nd jan no issues then either.
