I was wondering what the story is with bank machines in pomporovo, is itr possible to withdraw money with my standard bank card or do i have to bring my money with me,,,Cheers neil from ireland

You can use your standard bank card provided it's a visa / mastercard debit card. There is a cash machine in the lobby of the Murgavets and a bank by the entry to the PerelikJ

Hi Neil, went last feb, you can get money from cash point. Can't remember if it comes out in uk or bulg. put can do exchamges in hotel......... the big one in middle of resort. I was advised to take own money cos the exchange rate is better over there. Hope this helps. We are gonig back 22/1/05.re: bank machines
Judith does that include Maestro cards (used to be 'switch')?I was planning on taking some money and my card, I only have a maestro one - should I check with my bank if it's possible to withdraw dosh in bg? Oh, you have me confused now!

If it's a Mastercard or Visa then you are definitely OK - not sure about Maestro. Check with your bank, but as a rule, if you've used the card in machines overseas before, it should be okJ
