bansk skiing in easter

can anyone tell me what the skiing will be like at the beginning of april in bansko? is bansko the best resort, can any1 recomend ne good hotels or cheap deals? much appreciated

have fun if I remeber right easter is late this year and the ski season in bulgeria finishes mid march due to the temp rising no travel agent sells ski holdays out there at that time of the year

The lifts were working into April last year and so were the snow cannons. There will still be lots of people on the slopes in early April.

I'm going April 1st to Bansko!
Last year went to Boro end of March...
Season is indeed at its end. Some pubs were already closed. It was quite calm. Snow was ok, it snowed a lot that week.
I think it's more or less the same for Bansko, although I've been told that sometimes you could ski till May over there...

Hiya, we are also going over Easter, and staying at the Mont Blanc apartments. We are flying from Manchester with Bulgaria Air - 13 - 20 April. If we are arriving similar times perhaps we could share the transport from Sofia??

We spent Easter in Bansko last Easter - from 30th March. No snow in village, in fact sunny tee-shirt weather a couple of days! Snow not bad at all on tops, but very mushy and disappeared fast lower down. Still had good holiday !
