bansko 18th ski hire

im trying to book my ski hire before i travel this saturday, after much to and froing with the tour operator and now being told it might be too late! they have told me i might have to hire it when i get out there, are the prices pretty much the same as if you would book it before you go? think i found ski beginner package to bansko for 105 uk pounds. anyone else heading out to bansko this saturday?! not long to go!!!

I've just got back and was pricing up ski hire for next year. There's a place by the happy end pub with big sign Ski Hire (in red). If my memory serves right it was 103 lev for the whole week approx £40. They had their own ski and boot room under neath the shop (for storage) which was really usful as its a stone's throw from the gondela.

Yes, the whole lot. They had skis for beginner intermediate level etc(only two years old) & the boots were italian comfy fit. They spooke really good english in this ski hire shop. We went to them all.

cez do you need tution as well? if you do there was a sign at the gondalas offering 20 to 30% off the lift pass if you booked your ski hire tution and lift pass through them, dont know how much it was as only needed a lift pass this was £100 which you can pay with a credit card.

even with the discount mentioned above the other shops are cheaper. They have also been known not to honour this discount when asked.
