hope this is ok to ask the question!!
A couple of seasons ago we advertised our apartment on owners direct. At that time we only had Act 15 but because other owners seemed to be letting their apts and we didn't want to miss out on some much needed income we decided to also. (i know we shouldnt have!!!)
Because of heating/water problems we found that the odd few bookings that we did get caused more problems than it was worth.
Because the Complex/apartment now has Act 16 ...

I would be grateful for advice from other owners about which are the best sites to advertise on? We didn't get a great deal of enquiries from Owners Direst. I dont know if that is the norm, if it is because competition is fierce (which obviously it is) or if we did something wrong (although we weren't expensive and are up near the Gondola).
I know it is competion and you may not want to give away your secrets but any advice would be appreciated.

I used ownersdirect last year for our place near pamporovo got 7 calls from it, our friends in our village got more people in to the house for us than ownersdirect.
But it was a last minute thing, as we were not going to rent the house out at first, but we thought it would be nice to get guests to help pay for the small mortgage. We advertised in late Sept 09 and got exactly 7 calls and emails about the house. no bookings in the end as some clashed with people our bulgarian ...

I know some one who advertises his place in feurte ventura and gets people for a good third to half of the year. he puts it on cheap and gets the sales...they have a sister site also poss holidays direct not to sure on that.
