Just got back after a week in bansko
had a great week skiing managed to go from top of summit down to base in bansko village .Enough snow to get you tired for a nice drink at the end of the day.cold enough for the snow to stay
cannons are in full swing note
if your a begginner get to the lift station as early as poss to avoid the 1st day queues

for the money you pay to go compared to france austria the lift situation is the only downside plus it was peak holiday time so yes it is a bind but expectations are not as high for bulgariacouple of days we went at 11.30 and missed the queue

as did we but even then it was dipressing no body smiled all week grumpy and unhelpful. yes cheap and nasty couldn't have described it better. canada for me next yearre: bansko conditions

did two weeks in Banff & Kimberley and wasn't overimpressed food was expensive but good quality, drinks very expensive, passes dear, pistes some wide some very narrow - people ok but found out the Banff has become the Blackpool of the Rockies & very tacky!
long flights and xfers but more chance of snow - night-life non-existent - saw plenty of wildlife on the xfers to the slopes but wouldn't want to ski there towards the end of the season as the grizzly bears are real hungry in March and ...

get lost col i am not a misery just thought somepeople would appreciate knowing what conditions were like god you guys really need to get out more. i though thsi place was about letting others know about experiences etc.i shan't bother.
bansko is cool im sure when its less busy and they get more equipemnt or and get to like the english hahahha
