bansko hotel lion give us your thoughts please

Going to bansko for first time after two great hols in pamps anyone tell me about the hotel lion (please be good)

Have no fears Gaz - we stayed there a few years ago and loved it. Good food, large comfortable rooms and a personal bus shuttle service to take you to and from the slopes.

Couldn't fault it.

Stayed there 3 years ago gaz, great hotel 10 min walk to gondola they also run a mini bus up there as well.
Food ok, roaring log fires plenty of room.

Fab hotel, close to the slopes, would only stay there or the perun if going to Bansko.

If you can get hold of the Feb issue of the Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard mag, there's an article in there, 24 hours in Bansko. Journo stayed at the Lion, good report.

im staying at the hotel lion with friends on 5th february for a week. looked like a winner for me, reviews seemed good and best option of all those in the price bracket.
