I'm looking at Thomson ski - who we went to Pamps with last year - and they have the Hotel Bulgaria in Bansko on their site which looks really nice - yet on this site it lists lots of hotels in bansko but that hotel isn't mentioned - has anyone stayed there, if so what's it like
thanks

Went to Pamps in 2005 and had a great time - instruction was superb and the slopes were tip top (apart from a few areas down the mountain when you had to walkf for a while).
Did Bansko this year - the village is much better - much more to do but I would say that (overall) the slopes a little more challenging and badged strangely (a couple of blues are definitely red!!). Didn't quite enjoy the whole experience as much as Pamps....maybe down to the fact that we lost 2 whole days to windy ...

One of the reasons we chose Bansko was to avoid flying to Plovdiv ....
