bansko lift pass ..locals?

Hi there. I am organising a trip for my 30th birthday to Bansko... all my family and some friends are coming over. Now we currently live in stara zagora region, but only since few months, and my bulgarian ain't really up to scratch for pretending to be a local. Is there anyone here who can help us with buying lift passes for 2-3 days? We are on such a tight budget that any sort of saving over the 50-60 leva a day would be amazing!!!!!thanks, eternally grateful! Jo

re: bansko lift pass ..locals?

If you have a BG id card then you will be entitled to the discount, you don't need to speak any bulgarian to get this ( there are quite a few Expats that live in Bansko that don't speak BG) Ulen also do a 3 day lift pass that works out slightly cheaper than 3 x day passes. Although not prices aren't offically out, i have heard that they will be the same price as last year.

I was going to say the same on the ID/resident card thats how you prove your local, I know people who have moved to france and spain and if they want local rates they just show there id
