We ate at 5 different places all small mehanas mostly in the main street we also ate at one just down the road from the lion bar as in the reveiw we didnt have one bad meal. The price usually came to about 20 lev including drinks for two of us.As for brandy an choc didnt really give that much of a go but i did like the local beer Zakorka at 1.5 to 2.00 lev about 54p not bad at all.Forgot to say in the reveiw that the snow was the best we have ever skied but we have only been to italy before ...

To Daniel Petev our Ski Instructor what a guy! had us all ski ing the quite demanding slopes by the end of the week
and to our German frends who we met at the happy end bar at the end of some very hard days what a brilliant week at Bansko we have had.
To all of you that are going this week it has started to snow big time,we had brilliant ski conditions and snow is forecast to Tuesday and beyond !!
Kamenitsa best local beer in Hadji George on Pirin Street at 2 lev a 500ml bottle !Change your money in Sofia airport its at 3.15 Lev - GBP.(25/2/06)
All in all we had a great / fantastic time but In my opinion if your are absolute beginners go to Pamporovo the slopes are more forgiving.
