bansko ski road

what level do you need to be at to manage the ski road?

think its a blue so pretty easy, but no snow there when I went so had to use the gondola

The ski road is a blue and not a particualrly difficult one. If you've been skiing before it will not be a problem for you. If you're a total beginner you'll be skiing it within a day or two (subject to snow!).

anyone know if its open after the big dump o snow? or is it near being open??

I went skiing last year for the first time so hopefully will be able to manage it

There's a couple of dodgy places that will test absolute beginners on the road (I know cos I had the piggy-ski my daughter down it last Sunday!) but should be OK for beginners within a few days.

If you're an OK skier it'll take you c.15-20 mins and is quicker than the gondola.

Last week it was fine at the top esp, after the dump of snow on Thurs/Fri but poor but still passable at the bottom.
