came back from bansko last saturday we had a great week skiing but was spoilt on the last day by a very hairy trip back down the ski road to bansko we enjoyed this run many times earlier in the week but on the friday we came down after 4oclock and it was manic it was icy and extremely busy and we witnessed many accidents please take care this route is very busy and some people especially boarders seem to have no respect for others and many people wer skiing or boarding far beyond their ...

Totally agree ! We have also had a few bad scares on the snow road it really needs to be policed by the powers that be , before somebody is seriously hurt , we have seen and been involved in several accidents with people that either cannot ski going flat out with no regard for others on the slopes .

Noooooooooooooooo, we do not want this.. especially by the 'powers that be'The ski road is as the name suggests, a ski road.. it will always get busy at the end of the skiing day as everyone comes off the mountain.. the abilities being mixed will always lead to problems, but thats how it is... If its a problem to you come down on the gondola, or earlier

Agree with Steve C!! We were there 2nd to 9th, came down ski road every day. The ski road is always busy at that time of day, so if you don't feel confident you need to go on the gondola. Not sure where you found the ice though as we found it really soft and hard going - especially at the bottom, (although maybe that was because we'd called into the Cave ).
