hi there,could you please tell me which ski school the big uk tour operators to Bansko use.
thomsons, crystal etc and in your opinion which is the best ski school in bansko

Tour operators normally use the Ulen school, good discounts if taking a package of skis/instruction/pass.. To say what was the best school would be to ask what you want to do and what level you are ? there are some good private schools here...re: bansko ski school
thanks steve i am looking to apply for work as ski instructor and want to work with the british tour operators who come to the area .. i think pirin2000 bansko ski school is the one they use , is this so , do you know and any more suggestions welcome thanks for your replyre: bansko ski school

There are many schools, Pirin 2000, Bansko Skimania, Intersport etc etc... plus the operator school at Ulen. The best thing is to come to Bansko to arrange work, there is also the case that you will need the BG qualification to teach here officially... There is an over supply of instructors, and Ulen are now limiting the number of private instructors on the mountain, so good luck.

HiThey all use the Ulen ski school, Janko is the man in charge, the pay is rubbish and rely on tips, also you won't be guaranteed to be the instructor for the Brits, but if you do fancy it let me no as I still have contacts as I used to be the Rep there, good luck

Hey Terry Thanks for your replyYes I would lIke the contact for Janko at Ulen please and any other info you have ( do you think this would be the best ski school for me to apply to i am fully qualified)
worth a try as getting into the ski world even as a qualified instructor is hard.
which company did you work for , are you still doing winter seasons any other suggestions thanks again mate

yeh used to work for Thomson for my sins, Ulen would be the preferred chice! But there are other schools, have to say that as might offend others who use this site! As for contacts I will get in contact with them nearer the time as you would need accomadation for a start, there are people on here that I'm sure would only be pleased for a long term agreement, Janko who I mentioned before works in sunny beach for the summer, as soon as I hear he is back in resort I'll let you no, it would ...
