bansko tomorrow

got my suitcase packed and ready for off in the morning . anyone know what the snow is like ? heard reports that there's not much of it and some slopes are icy.... also is there any snow in the town ? getting a bit worried

probably won't be any in the town but i believe the conditions on the slopes are mint. 70cm bottom 130cm top that any bad.

ah that a shame about the town..... any idea if the ski road is ski-able cos read earlier that it wasn't great the other day... wanted to practice a bit on that before heading up the other slopes..

I wouldn't listen to all the negative bansko chat on here. You only really ever hear moans on message boards

From what I gather from people is the skiing is good, not much queueing for gondola, building work is going on but old town is OK. Some good nights to be had too.

Bansko old town is lovely, full of character. Great meals and nights out to be had. I'd recommend it out of school holidays! The ski road is kept open by the snow cannon, just gets a bit slushy in the afternoon but good skiing earlier. Have a great holiday!

Thanks for some positive comments Daniel. We are off on the 10th as well. 3 lads, will make the most of whatever skiing is on offer but most importantly the cheap booze
